While dogs are welcomed at this campground, our own dog clearly didn't like the place. Crushed stone everywhere - on the campground loop roads and on the campsites themselves - seemed to hurt her feet. The periodic crunch as vehicles made their way over the crushed rock to campsites jolted her out of sleep.
As for Deb and me, we found this campground convenient (only about three miles from the Gettysburg battlefields). Plus it was spotlessly clean, offered free wi-fi, and it had a laundry.
Parents (and especially their kids) will enjoy this park's swimming pool and its active entertainment schedule.
In short, this is a solid choice if visiting Gettysburg for a few days ... and offered a better layout than a couple of other area campground/RV parks we drove by.
